player someday then you need to get stronger.
However, that won’t be easy since you need to dedicate a lot of time to
it. You need time and dedication to
succeed at becoming strong, but being strong doesn’t guarantee that you would do
well in football. Remember that football is more than being strong as you need
to last for hours against some of the strongest guys in the field.
Below are some suggestions on how you can do well in
football. There are more to it than just
being strong in football, so you need to keep in mind a lot of things to get
your play time better.
- Having bigger muscles doesn’t necessary equals to being stronger as there are lots of people, who can be stronger than you even though you are bigger. You need to focus on the strength of the muscle and not with the size.
- Most bi muscles are torn from the joints and this becomes an obstacle inside the football field. It can take months, or even years to fully heal.
- You can only be stronger if you are able to fully develop your tendons and ligaments through hard exercises. It is important to take it wisely and don’t go to the gym, exercising like a fool. You need to take your time and the strict form whenever exercising. Otherwise, you are just getting yourself injured. You need to be in control whenever you are doing reps. You need to take it slow and forget about impressing others as you would just hurt yourself.
- Bulky muscles can result to reduce speed, agility and finesse. Especially if you are the wide receiver of the group you are in. Your muscles need to be train to have a bursting speed and power. This means that you are able to start as soon as possible with the best speed that you have. Football isn’t for wimps and those, who just want to impress others. Seriously, you don’t have to lift a ton of weight just to become a football star. Most of the time, lifting too much weight would slow you down and you aren’t able to compete with the best of the best in the game field.
- Don’t overdo it as you won’t be around in most of the season if you does that. Take your strength training for football very seriously as you would depend most of the time in your strength when you are in the field. The end result would not only surprise you, but also would impress yourself.
